作為全台首座以「森林療癒」為核心、並以竹子為主題的生態旅遊園區，這座近百公頃的場域，邀請人們透過竹構造與自然共感，透過景觀美學的營造、步道系統的改善，以及生態的逐步復育，讓山林重新呼吸，讓人與自然重新連結。

As Taiwan’s first forest-therapy-focused eco-tourism site centered on bamboo, this nearly 100-hectare sanctuary invites visitors to reconnect with nature through bamboo architecture and immersive landscape design. With ecological restoration, upgraded trail systems, and carefully curated aesthetics, the forest comes alive once more, offering a renewed connection between people and the natural environment.

本計畫與聯合國17項永續發展目標（SDGs）全面對應，期待打造一處身心可淨化、空氣清新流動的療癒之地。展望未來，將持續結合政府、地方社區、觀光業者與學校等多方資源，推動設計導向的觀光體驗，優化景觀設施，讓來自台灣與世界各地的旅人，在這片竹林間，感受到環境、設計與靈魂之間真正的對話。

The project is fully aligned with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aiming to create a healing space where body and mind can be cleansed and the air flows fresh and free. Moving forward, the initiative continues to bring together government agencies, local communities, tourism partners, and schools to promote a design-driven travel experience. Through these efforts, travelers from Taiwan and around the world can experience a place where environment, design, and spirit engage in meaningful dialogue.

本案根據遊客的體驗模式分為大眾區、深度體驗區、寂靜區等，大眾區以木馬古道至雲嶺之丘為核心，主要景點有瀞座、圓竹、竹虹、山境座等；深度體驗區及寂靜區，主要景點有低語軒、微風小築、穹頂竹棚、小柴軒等。對於體力較佳的遊客，可以選擇登上風之舞台，欣賞壯闊的山景；對於體力較弱或只想放鬆身心的遊客，則可以選擇環形路線，在竹林中漫步休憩，路線規劃目的是希望能夠滿足不同使用者的需求。

The Shibi Bamboo Forest has been thoughtfully structured to accommodate various modes of visitor engagement through three experiential zones: the General Zone, the In-depth Experience Zone, and the Quiet Zone. The General Zone centers on the stretch from the Wooden Horse Trail to Yunling Hill, featuring landmarks such as Stillness Seats, Circular Bamboo Pavilion, Bamboo Bridge Pavilion, and Seats of Ridge. The In-depth and Quiet Zones offer deeper, more secluded experiences, with highlights like Whisper Lounge, Breeze Pavilion, Echo Dome, and Courtyard Restroom. Adventurous visitors can ascend to the Breeze Platform for sweeping mountain views, while those seeking a gentler pace can follow a loop trail through the bamboo groves—designed for rest, reflection, and renewal. Every path invites connection, offering something for every traveler, regardless of pace or preference.

設計團隊以最少的干涉和對自然的深切尊重，不僅美化當地的竹林環境，還對過往被荒廢的人工竹林進行了精心整治，使之重獲新生，提升地區的生態品質，為訪客提供理想的森林療育勝地，且步道位於中高海拔區域，其中豐富的負離子和清新的空氣，讓人們能在自然的懷抱中找到身心的平和與恢復，通過森林的保護與恢復，同時豐富社區的文化生活，為其提供一系列的教育與休閒活動，增強居民的生活質量。

With minimal intervention and profound respect for nature, the design team restored neglected bamboo groves into a renewed landscape, enhancing local ecology and creating an ideal setting for forest therapy. Located at mid-to-high elevation, the trails offer fresh mountain air and abundant negative ions, helping visitors find calm and renewal in nature’s embrace.  

為了保持自然景觀的純淨與和諧，計畫特別避免使用如太陽能板等人造元素，強調以自然保育和生態友好為核心的設計與管理理念，本計畫實現環境、社會及經濟全方位永續的目標，為當代與後代創造更加和諧與健康的生活環境。

Beyond restoring the ecosystem, the project enhances community life through education and leisure, improving overall quality of living. To maintain the landscape’s purity, artificial elements like solar panels were avoided. Instead, the design embraces ecological harmony and sustainability—environmental, social, and economic—fostering a healthier future for generations to come.
